Street dogs

Tied to a tree, these dogs belong to street people - or at least people I often see hanging around Menton who appear to be street guys They were sitting on a nearby bench and spoke very proudly of their dogs. These pups appear to be well-fed and have smart collars.

I'm not sure who you refer to as "street people" do you mean homeless people?

One of them certainly has a true "hangdog" look.

Bow Wow, little darlings!

Pehaps the Weimaraner is mentally urging someone to notice the leash wrapped around his back legs!

These are very cute pups. Thankfully, they seem to be taken care of. I was wondering if the 'street guys' take as good care of themselves?

There is a young homeless woman who hangs out in front of a bookstore on a busy street in Pasadena California. Along with her worldly possessions kept in a shopping cart, she also keeps three cats on leash. Even stranger still, they strike me a pure bred cats, possibly Ocicats. I don't know how she does it.
